SenseMaker® for Social Good & Research during times of crisis

The Cynefin Centre, COVID-19 and beyond

The need for learning and sense-making at a local level and at scale is more important than ever. Building on over a decade of experience pioneering a human-centred approach to complexity science, and using the proven capabilities of SenseMaker®, Cognitive Edge and the Cynefin Centre have designed a number of initiatives for learning and understanding the evolving nature and implications of the pandemic. With SenseMaker® we provide a platform to build rich narrative-based repositories of learning through the crisis, working to decelerate impact in the present, and prevent damage in the future.

With these SenseMaker® packages, we also provide a scalable platform to augment and scale learning and innovation during the crisis and joining together to build a different and (hopefully) better future.

Join the Cynefin Centre's COVID-19 Programme

By joining our COVID-19 programme, you will have access to bespoke SenseMaker® packs where you will be able to explore key questions, untangle the knotted webs of impact measurement, and positively move forward towards a possibly new future. Each pack includes several SenseMaker® frameworks that are ready to be deployed.
Within the COVID-19 programme, you will not only have access to your own unique data, but you will be a part of a global community. Exploring, learning, and re-building life. Together.

All of the Social Good programmes can be made available to Companies and Governments (at all levels) in addition to Not-for-profits, for example the non-commercial family programme could be run within a company (terms and conditions apply).
